April 2005 – … : CEO & Co-founder, Nagi (see nagi.ee for our Estonian site and nagitech.com for our international development offering). The startup company operates 3 largest photo sharing sites in Estonia (Nagi, Fotoalbum and Album.ee) and video sharing site Toru, as well as social network Keskus. We also have a discount and product campaign advertising network Oi! in Estonia. Our sites get around 130-140 thousand unique weekly Estonian visitors and we have 150+ thousand registered users. Over 45 million photos have been uploaded.
October 2004 – December 2005: Member of the Board, Director of Sales and Marketing of MicroLink.
April 2002 – December 2005: Director of Marketing and Communications of MicroLink, the leading IT and new media group in the Baltic States providing integrated services and solutions in the fields of IT, data communications, Internet and new media. The group employs around 640 people in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. MicroLink achieved consolidated sales of EUR 63 million in financial year 2000/2001. Until 2003 MicroLink also owned Delfi (www.delfi.ee) portal sites in all Baltic Countries, being the leading Internet properties in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. In 2004 MicroLink exited SAF Tehnika, an internationally known telecommunications equipment (microwave radio links) manufacturer, via an IPO on HEX Riga.
January-February 2002: interim Director of Sales & Marketing of IT Meedia – a struggling software development company who’s main product at that time included Amphora, an open-source server application software for groupware, document and project management, CRM etc. I was brought in by my friends, investors in the company immediately we decided together with them that there is no sense to invest more money into the company and it is better to close it down.

August 1999 – December 2001: VP International & Business Development, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, CV-Online / CVO Group. During that time helped the company to reach the position of the leading integrated professional recruitment service and career portal in Central and Eastern Europe, active now with around 100 employees in 6 countries. The service portfolio of CVO Group includes e-recruitment under brandname CV-Online, traditional search and selection under brandname Professional People, and recruitment software technologies under brandname CVO Technologies. Helped the company to successfully raise close to 4 million EUR in venture capital financing from prominent investors like Esther Dyson, LHV Ventures and 3TS Venture Partners.

November 1994 – July 1999: Co-Founder, Chairman and Managing Director, AS Stallion Ltd. An Estonian web development, Internet marketing and data security consultancy and value-added reseller, serving mostly large and medium size private and government organisations in the Baltic region.
Started professional career in 1994 in the field of Internet & web service development and Internet marketing, starting the first commercial website in Estonia already back in summer 1994. From then on active in many commercial web-based projects and developments in Estonia.
Educational Background:
Studied at Tallinn Technical University a mixed BSc curriculum of Electronics and Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Tele- and Data Communications. During studies held also the position of the President of the Student Government and Chairman of the Student Parliament.
